European & Local Election Rallies - meet the team in your area Fri 17th Apr 2009 Graham Watson MEP, Kay Barnard and the Lib Dem European Candidates for the South West are hosting a series of rallies across the region over the next four weeks. Local election candidates and council leaders will also be attending their nearby events.

Euro elections highlight real issues and political choice Wed 18th Mar 2009 The European Parliament officially kicked off its public awareness campaign about the forthcoming European elections (4th-7th June). In a break with the past, the information campaign will be focused on issues and political choices rather than the purely institutional dimension.

Big Climate Demo Saturday Tue 2nd Dec 2008 In these troubled economic times many politicians are all too willing to forget about crucial environmental issues.
