Biography:
Emily Gasson joined the Liberal Democrats at University and ran Durham University Liberal Democrats, winning the prize for the fastest growing student party. In 1997 while training to be a legal aid solicitor she stood for Regents Park and Kensington North. On qualifying as a solicitor Emily moved to North Dorset where her family lives. Emily stood for North Dorset in 2001. Emily is a solicitor and heads the Legal Department for the social housing company South Somerset Homes Limited.
Married to the Liberal Democrat MP Ed Davey, in her spare time she enjoys Independent travel, social anthropology, museum ethnography, gardening, bell ringing, swimming and cycling.
